Every time I go to a temple in India,
I wonder, What keeps the people going?
This same question was going on in my mind, when I was at the Mumba Devi temple in Mumbai India.
My nani made a comment, "It is with her blessings that Mumbai is safe today."
The other answer is Faith.
I think that the amount of Faith that Indians have in their gods, must be amongst the highest in the world.

hmm why do you say that.. do you not believe in HIM ?
Probably they think that going to a temple is a way of getting close to HIM. I think no matter where you are , you are with HIM - so I don't go to temples.
Everyone has their own way of being with HIM.. Perhaps !

Just that every time i visit the temple, the whole Faith thing comes out much more strong!
Hmm... I like the HIM/HER thingy.. while I was writing the comment, Paulo C did come to my mind, yet I preferred Him.. dnt know why .. worth some contemplation.
I think I know what you are saying here.. I have had some great epiphanies occur to me while standing in front of HIM in a temple.. I guess it is the whole pious environment that adds to the magic.
