Identifying a place

Isn't it amazing how one small thing about a place lingers in your mind for long.
Whenever someone talks about Mahabalipuram, I am reminded of this Butter Rock.

And guess what...
The goat is present there most of the times!
:)

And I remember the goat too !

On Biking

The wind kissing your hair
hitting you hard on the face

The winds percolating
through the corner of the shades

The feel of the thrill
at speeds that would perhaps kill

I miss my bike.

Indiana and the Corn Fields

The corn field stretch for miles and miles.

Story's Story

... one of the most nice name places I have been to.

This is called Story. A quaint village founded in 1851, nestled in the hills of southern Indiana, a place known for its weather-beaten barns, clapboard churches, covered bridges and splendid fall foliage.

Very Very Very beautiful during the fall season. It serves as a definite pit stop for bikers too.

Enclosed

There are two ways to see through a window.
One from the inside and feel hopeful about the the world outside, and optimistic.
One from the outside into the window and feel claustrophobic and pessimistic.

Which one do you feel?

The other is 'Just do it'.

The thing with kids

...is that if you look at them, the definitely look back at you.

You keep looking and then they look back.
And then you spend time smiling making faces, and making baloons with your cheeks and doing things with your hands. They look away.
And then you keep doing it. They look back to check if you are still doing it.
And you do it a bit more and smile a bit more.

they smile! :)

What keeps them going?

Every time I go to a temple in India,
I wonder, What keeps the people going?

This same question was going on in my mind, when I was at the Mumba Devi temple in Mumbai India.

My nani made a comment, "It is with her blessings that Mumbai is safe today."

The other answer is Faith.
I think that the amount of Faith that Indians have in their gods, must be amongst the highest in the world.
