I might sound ignorant here - but I never quite understood why the Palm trees in India are always bent - it looks quite awesome.. but there are Palm trees in CA as well and the don't sway like our India ones.
Ok yes u can laugh at me.. but a genuine doubt.
The pic is quite awesome. I have not seen Southern India and it is on my to do list since quite some time

Might have something to do with the wind speed ? shayad that logic applies.
