..spread the smile and make at-least one person a day smile, I think my day has been fruitful.

I think this has to be one of the most important things that I have learned this year and I try to stick by it.

Sleep...

...in heavenly peace.

After a hectic day of work,
after a tiresome semester,
after driving for days,
hiking across parks and trails,
clicking for minutes and hours,
cooking days and nights.

All the above activities....
is keeping me busy.

and I just feel like sleeping.
I guess some rest is good,
before I start the last semester here.

The Yeses and Nos

The year has been good. The year has been bad.
There has been roses and the thorns.
The smiles and the cries.
Academically loaded, dis-loaded in a few other things.

The taste

What is education?

Education should go beyond the normal books knowledge and also impart life skills.

..only says that the lord exists..
Its the soul that needs to discover it finally.

I know there are hard times..
I know there are failures..
I know that the audience is caught up with the Twenty Twenty Buzz...
I know that Mahendra Singh Dhoni rocks (both cause he was from my school and is a great leader)
I know that Sachin was a God, Is a God and will be a God forever..
I know that the rest of the world is looking up to us now...

I know that I will be there .. through joy and sorrow...
I know I will still stay up late in nights to watch you perform, even if you suck at it and lose the match.
I know I will clap and clap and shout, sitting in any corner of the world, in the hope that my words will reach your ears.

And I know I will shed a tear of joy, every time you win, like I did when you won at Chennai.

If I had studied as much as I did today, I would have definitely got a PhD by now!

Can't wait to get back ...

...to the schools to interact more with these kids..
Unfortunately I still have a few more months to go before that happens!

Till then I find solace in the fact that people in the class were pleased with my presentation on the project.

These days.. I see the shades of color within the blankets of white and grey..
I pause..
I stare at them for a long time...
and then wait for spring.

And it's just the start of winter.
We had the first full fledged snowfall today, which in itself was a beautiful sight.

What is healing?

bruised egos...
a shattered nation...
my mom who underwent an operation recently....
the money plant in my living room which caught a frost bite...
economies of nations...

and many more.

Healing is a process.
A time consuming process.
