Into the horizon

After the sunset

...i stood there..
Staring at the stars being born.
With each moment in time.

Speaking out

Speak out

Some days I just sit and realize that if I had spoken out at all times when I wanted to say somethings, things could have been different.

Many of us do not do so for the fear of being ridiculed, fear of failing, and the fear of the consequences that we would have to face. What the society would say? The society here could be the classmates, neighbors in the colony, or office mates.

So if you do not do it, Whats stopping you? Just Do it!

Doing what you love..

I Love...

...today I was having a discussion with a friend. and the point I was making was that when you do what you love, there is immense joy to the soul. And that feeling is not replicable in doing anything else.

I love shooting portraits. After coming to the US, somehow that thing did not happen much and I went around shooting nature. All people shots posted here were from my archive.

This one however was on my last trip to India. Shot in Kolkata at a street side sewing shop.

Even in the hot Kolkata weather, with sweat dripping down, and throat choking with thirst, I could feel my soul beaming with happiness when I shot this.

Wish everyone did what they loved doing.

Some Days..

Siesta

..are such that you don't feel like doing anything.
You just want to rest and do nothing.
Or just wait for a day when you could relax and enjoy completely.

Fridays are such days!

Workspace

Workspace

Yesterday, in my new office, I was grumbling about not getting a permanent office cubicle. I got like a makeshift cubicle.

They said they ran out of free cubicles.
Fair enough.

Suddenly I remembered about this picture I had taken in Kolkata this summer, and all my grumblings went down the drain.

I suddenly realized how fortunate I was for where I am and how immaterial all my worries are when I look at things like this.
