Lots of talks of recession in the US going on..
wonder if many would head homewards...
How many will be able to hold on..

Often i wonder..
what is it really that makes people want to stay here?
There is definitely something that i am missing..
or is it just the grass on other side green syndrome.

..darkness.

There is more darkness in the world in the day than the night shows us.
The darkness that dooms over the society, is far more dangerous than the darkness of night.
How can we make the world a better place to live?

.. the other side.

When will humans stop thinking that the grass on the other side is greener?
I guess never.. as these are the most basic of human thoughts...

When will one stop thinking that I would have been better doing what I am not doing currently and something that I could have done IF i had taken the other path, leading to the other side?
Well now that you are NOT doing the thing you thought you would be better doing it...Its wise to start putting your heart and soul into the thing you are doing in order to do it better than the thing on the other side.

...into the vortex..

today I heard about the incident from Kathy and Greg..
I could feel myself falling into the vortex...
went into a state of shock immediately..
:( why is the world so mean!
Why?

Miss the colors..

miss the colors.
been a while since i saw some bright colors.
I think i should wear some bright colored clothes for some days..
hopefully that will help me out of the gloom.

the wind..

Its the wind that kills the life forms..
the cold is a direct component of it...

... to ignore or not.

...today had an online discussion regarding the subjects we shoot.
Often i wonder...
is it these scenes i miss when I shoot here?
had this discussion about the genuine compassion and the personal ambition.
pretty interesting thoughts here....

Today is a gift...

with the weather around...
with the numerous things going on..
life seems gray all around me.

A feeling...

.. sometimes I get this feeling ..
that the base is weak.
that the waves are strong...
that prohibits me from carrying on..

to reach the shore ..
to where I have not been before..
to a land of dreams and desire..
to be in a state of bliss I aspire.

Need...

.. feel lonely...
leading to becoming lost...
the things want to keep me busy ..
i say to myself.. take it easy..
don't want to panic..
feel i miss the love tonic..

Memories...

Sometimes they are good..
sometimes.. bad..
the good ones. gives u joy.
the bad ones haunt u ..

Schooling..

..read an article in the NY times front page today.
Surprising that the place that they went to survey was in my home state , where needless to say the education needs immediate and urgent attention.

Think....

of the times when u were happy.
of the times when the things were good.

Meditate

with so many things going around..
i think its necessary for me to pause..
and concentrate on less things..

Its better to do one thing well than trying to do ten things badly.

...what was the purpose of me coming to this world.
What am I here for?
What is it that I am doing?

Am i happy doing what I am doing.

Education...

brings about awareness.
i feel that it is perhaps the only solution
to an eradication of poverty.

Journey...

life is a journey...

kabhi bus par..
kabhi apne kadam par...

A lonely traveller...

..I am.
...wanting to capture the entire world in his eyes...
...even if i am able to do even 25% of the countries on the planet..
I will consider my life well spent!

Feel the force...

...of time passing by your ears...
...in a whooosh..
...of its liquidity..
...of having life on the fast track..

Does it have a form..
Can you feel it?

the roads seems long...
the destination is far..
the journey must go on..

Life is all about a journey that one takes..

In the Grand Canyon, the time seems to stand still.. the mountains are a testimony to the thousands of years that have passed... a bare witness to all the winds that have blown over the landscapes...
The beauty is mesmerizing and as a photographer, one can but only awe at mother nature and her creations.
