Peace...

One down.. two more to go.. Some peace of mind

I remember

Sitting indoors, I remember the weekend that just went by.
The on top of the world feeling, the skyscrapers, the windy weather, the ice rains..
Chicago was awesome!

Waiting..

for the holidays to begin...
to relax..
to enjoy..
to find myself all over again.

A promise...

...
to be told ...
after years of waiting ...
after years of loving ...

Just a few ..

leaves left on the trees..
i stare at the clear sky...
i see the branches overpowering..
a web it creates.

Soon these too will be gone..
Today one friend said..
Don't be sad.... they will come again..

What i felt was not sadness..
it was something else..
fear? agony ? sorrow?
just don't know what...

Memories....

..they dont fade way.
..they leave their marks ..

like a trail on a rock...
like the veins on a leaf..

Like a fairy....

...you touched my heart.
...you made the sorrows depart.

...your words made me smile..
...your laughs made me feel worthwhile..
..

What was I upto..?

Perhaps it was madness...
I think it was..

Walking at 1 am in -2 degrees centigrade for around 4 km!

The streets...

the streets here are so different..
there is no aroma.. there is no smell..
there are no people walking around..
there is no noise..
is this change in environment good?
Missing these small joys...
of going on the streets and starting a conversation with anyone..
stopping by anywhere and experiencing life..

Wish i was a child again...

Missing home...

The festive season is in... missing home.. missing Ma.

The colors are fading ...

into dark brown... the sadness begins to set it.

Someone...

Do we all need someone to travel the paths in life?
Is traveling alone scary ? Difficult?

From the other side..

Many a times it is required to go to the other side to see the beauty of the world.
Its a lot of viewing a same thing from different perspectives.

Into the woods..

At times I just feel like going into the woods and being in the arms of mother nature.

Reflections on Fall...

Day by day the trees get bare..
...all i can do is sigh and stare...

More than half the leaves are gone..
it seems that mother nature has won..

Wish i could stop the winds..
Wish i could stop the rains..
The sadness that starts that is so unkind..
The agony, lost joy and the pains..

The mercury constantly fails to rise..
wearing an overcoat would be just wise..
The winds brutally hit my face...
i realize the triviality of the human race...

The sun is out and is bright...
i see the spotless sky...
wish there was heat as much there is light..
and i could, just as the birds fly....

Soon all will be black and white...
The days short.. and longer night..
Everyday will be a test for survival..
with the hope of a new revival..

The hope keeps me going..
this will end soon.... spring is coming..
